L dryas female, probably
Hi Tom! Based on shape (+ chunkiness), colour and ovipositor appearance, I would peg this as L dryas. Another clue is that it seems to be the first lestid of the season across much of N Am and your date is tending on the early side for a lestid...Excellent shot!
