Fly and USO (unidentified spider object)

I had already checkout out this dead spider conglomeration on my car when a fly arrived and very cautiously ogled the remains. Is this a tachnid fly? If that spider had any ID he's probably not carrying it now. Those eyes staring from that compact bundle are rather creepy.

Moved
Moved from Lauxaniidae. It has a broken costa at Sc and a complete transverse dorsal suture on the thorax so it can't be a lauxaniid.

Not a tachinid
The wing veination is more like that of a Lauxaniid fly.

Very nice.
Thanks, Karl. I appreciate your time. I'll have to do a little research on the Lauxaniid.
