Actually...How to collect this specie in BC Canada? I already found Ceruchus striatus, Platycerus oregonensis, Sinodendron rugosum here...But couldnt find any of these..If anyone wants to exchange, contact my email is also perfect. Just looking for Platyceroides for like..several years, but have no idea about how to collect them

 
Antifreeze pitfall traps
In forested areas in the coastal ranges. Often quite common in California and Oregon.

My experience...
is limited to one under bark on an old stump, and one in flight.
