Identification
connexivum, connexiva (plural), noun - the flat, reflexed or vertical border of the abdomen, to be seen in the Heteroptera. It is caused by sections of the abdomen enlarging to form a lateral margin. In many groups, the connexivum is banded or spotted along the margins.
