Lady beetle ID - Adalia bipunctata

Lady beetle ID - Adalia bipunctata
Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado, USA
June 18, 2009
Size: ~4mm
I believe this is Harmonia axyridis, looking for confirmation. Thanks.

The size sound a bit small, but...
...I think you are correct, though I am not an expert I can't resist offering an opinion since I find myself asking the same question ( 'Is this Harmonia axyridis?')so often!

Hopefully an expert can confirm this for you!

BTW - I like the pronotum pattern on this one. I don't see that pattern very often around here!

Thanks
I noticed that the size listed for H. axyridis was 5mm+. I know this was not that big, even 4mm might be a bit bigger than it was. The pronotum pattern was what made me think it was the Multi.Asian.

no H. axyridis -- i would lean towards Adalia 2-bunctata
but wait for an expert

Wow
If this is another Adalia 2punctata, it makes the third very different pattern I've seen this spring.

Good eye, v belov!
Adalia bipunctata is a much better fit!
