Finally a Forbes! back outdoors - Rothschildia forbesi
World Birding Center at Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA

After my indoor photo, I brought the critter back outside and let it fly up and perch in a Mexican Olive Tree just outside the park offices. I eventually decided it was worth a few more photos of the magnificent beast with a natural background.
