Ashy Gray Ladybird Beetle - Olla v-nigrum

Ashy Gray Ladybird Beetle - Olla v-nigrum
Dog Canyon, Otero County, New Mexico, USA
June 19, 2009

Anyone else for Olla v-nigrum?
Might be Olla v-nigrum, Ashy Gray Ladybird Beetle. The markings on the head look very like this specimen's:

The white markings aren't all that dissimilar from the difficult Hyperaspis signata species complex, though, and color/pattern isn't the most reliable lady beetle identifier by any means. (Once you get into H. signata, there's no telling them apart without dissection.)

Ashy Gray Ladybird Beetle
looks good, and I saw two gray indivuals on the same bush. Thanks!
