Harsi: Hopefully the corrections I've made will do it. Let me know if anything else is needed. Ron

Correct date?
Ron, as we don't have very many images of this species, I would like to include your image in the guide. Can you please correct the info in the date field first? Thanks!

Cordulegaster dorsalis
Harsi: I'd be glad to but I'm new to the process. Do I simply add the ID so graciously given me by Bob Barber? The date also? I'm looking at it now. Ron

New user help...
If you don't know the date the photograph was taken on, then "yes" what you have done is fine. If you do know the date, you should always include that information in your posts.

Once an image has received a correct ID, you can feel free to change the title to whatever you want. However, once the image is moved into the guide itself, the system will automatically include the scientific name in the title. So, if you choose to include that in your title, it will be listed TWICE. Instead you could simply leave the title at "Dragonfly" or perhaps you would prefer to rename it using the common name for that species, which is "Pacific Spiketail". It's really up to you!

Sometimes editors will move your images into the guide for you (as I have done), but if you are confident in the ID of your image and want to do so for yourself, there are helpful instructions on this Help page -- see Question #8. (There are many useful and interesting tips for new users to learn by browsing through the Help sections, and I highly recommend it if you can find the time.)

Thanks
Bob, thanks for that lightning quick ID. Obviously I don't know my Odonata. Thanks again, Ron
