Hunchback Bee Fly - Lepidophora
Boloria Nature Preserve, Bull Valley, McHenry County, Illinois, USA

We found several hunchback bee flies nectaring on the wildflowers. We identified them as Lepidophora from the images in bugguide, but we don't know how to tell the species apart.
