Thank you - how did you do that???

Sorry but...
How do I rotate my images?

-or-

How did I rotate your images?

My images - I use Photoshop and usually keep it open on one of mine computers while browsing through BugGuide. Most image viewing software allows for some degree of photo editing. My Vista machine shipped with 'Windows Photo Gallery' and My Windows XP machine with 'Windows Picture and Fax Viewer'. You may be using some program that came with your camera. All of these programs will rotate images in 90° increments. Some cameras will auto-rotate your images as you view them in the camera. Some software may auto-rotate also. I think this sometimes creates an issue. I can look at some images in one program and it may be orientated corrected and in other programs in may not be. Most of the auto-rotated images that I open in Photoshop CS2 will display incorrectly and have to be rotated once they are opened.

Your images - I am an editor for BugGuide. It used to say so on my Info page but after a recent change within BugGuide, it now only shows me as a Contributor.

I hope this answers your question and I am sorry to be so long winded :)
