Yellow-faced Bumblebee - Bombus vosnesenskii
Bommer Canyon, Orange County, California, USA

Bombus vosneskii? Found this one before it had really woken up, in the middle of a light rain (or what passes for rain here in Irvine).

B. vosneskii looks fine to me.
We don't have a lot of Bombus species here, and yellow-faced bees are out now.

note spelling
vosnesenskii

much smaller than 2cm
