for taking the air out of my excitement at finding the "common" handsome fungus beetle this evening, and getting shots far inferior to these. LOL! And I bother again because??? This is Mycetina perpulchra in the family Endomychidae. In all seriousness, nice find, great shots. Oh, I'm living in South Deerfield, by the way, if you ever want a field companion....
