Size: small, about 1 cm
This fly was nectaring on Buddleia. It jumped around alot - this was the best image I could get. It flew with it's abdomen straight, and then curled it on landing. Anyone know what it is?

Family Conopidae. There's only two species of Stylogaster in North America, and I never did find out which species this pair was (same as thumbnail below). Yours looks the same as the female pictured.
