These have suddenly appeared on my door frame. I couldn't figure out if the first one was dead or alive, or even a complete bug - it looked like maybe some skeletal remains of an earwig or something, because it was in shadow and small and I couldn't make out much detail beyond the interesting geometric patterns. But This morning I saw two others and got photos of this one before it woke up and wandered off. The oddness of it reminded me of Giger's creations. What is it?

Can anyone confirm? Sure looks just like it, though the map doesn't show it near here.
