It reminds me of this Bee...


I do see differences, but it may be a starting place. (If you couldn't guess, I am not an expert, I just take pictures, and admire insects).

Thanks! Many of those look a lot like the one I found, hopefully I can narrow it down to a specific genus.

 
Wasp, not bee.
Male, too, so won't sting:-) Not Astatinae, I don't think, but something in the Larrini tribe.
