Big Syrphid - Sericomyia lata
Elysburg, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, USA

This was bigger than I'm used to seeing for a syrphid. Of course, that's assuming it is a syrphid. I couldn't seem to find a match for him. Had a bit of red at the very tip of the abdomen.
