A kind of Cyclosa?

A kind of Cyclosa?
Charlottesville, Albemarle County, Virginia, USA
June 25, 2009
Size: 1/4 inch, including legs
A spider enthusiast friend of mine claims this is a species of Cyclosa, or trash-line spider. However, this one is quite different in that the line of material above it isn't debris but rather seems to be composed of silk-wrapped prey. Also, the spider is not hiding in the middle of a line of trash, but rather remains suspended, clearly visible, at the bottom end of the line of objects. Therefore, I'm inclined to think this is something else. Anyone have a clue?

Uloboridae
That's what this looks like to me, and I suspect the wrapped packages above her may be egg sacs.

Yep, that's it, all right. Thanks for your help, John!
