Lynette, your images are absolutely stunning - I just LOVE this one. I must admit, I am a little bit jealous. I am hoping to expand my own photography capabilities - I've just purchased a Canon G6, I might even get the digital Rebel.

Excellent photo. I've been seeing these Promachus around in good numbers the last week or so. I even saw one (a male?) having killed a female in a lighted breezeway where I work, at night! I did not have my camera, unfortunately.

Lovely
Very fine facial shot. This is Promachus rufipes with those two-toned legs. This one will indeed eat any fly including its own kind and I have several adult dragonfly take-down shots as well of the related Promachus hinei.
