Blue Caterpillar - Malacosoma
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Montrose County, Colorado, USA

These seemed fairly common in the park. This one was seen just below the top of the rim in a habitat that included some Gambel oak, but I don't know what kind of plant it is on.

Looks to be one of the tent caterpillars
in the genus Malacosoma, in the guide here
