What do you think instead
of maybe Dolomedes triton?

 
I'm not sure
I think the eyes are more lycosid like. I can see how the pattern on its body might suggest Dolomedes triton, but I'm leaning more towards something from Pardosa.

 
Might be Pirata
If that size of 9mm is the leg span, I'm thinking this might be Pirata piraticus.
