Whirligig Beetles - Dineutus discolor
Erving, Franklin County, Massachusetts, USA

Size: 11mm
There were a bunch of Whirligigs swimming around, and a few up on a couple of branches sticking out of the water. I think this is the first time I've seen them out of the water.

D. discolor
The underside is all the same light color. Thanks for noticing these.
