Size: length approx. 5"-6"
We found this very large insect on the outside of our garage yesterday afternoon. I'd never seen anything like it before in my entire life and am interested in learning what it is.

Great find! It's a male dobsonfly. Their jaws are amazing. I have yet to find one myself.
