Coleomegilla maculata
appears to be Coleomegilla maculata. For some reason we seem to get lots of posts of this larva (more than I'd expect relative to the "average" abundance of the adults), but nice images.

I agree. I see very few lady beetles at all except the loathsome multicolored-you-know-what. Thanks for the ID.
