Looper? - Cucullia

Looper? - Cucullia
Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado, USA
June 29, 2009
Size: about 2 cm
This one was on the back wall of my house, near a small light which is on 24/7. I guess that this is some variety of Looper, based on the hood-like growth on the head.

Cucullia spp.
There are several very similar moths with this general appearance. (no rsvp, thanks)
