What kind of fritillary? Atlantis maybe? I can probably find more underside pictures if that would help for an ID.

looks like Great Spangled
The Atlantis would have gray eyes and solid black borders on the margin. Aphrodite has central spot at the base of upper forewing. A shot of the under side would help with the ID but from what I see in MN/WI it's a Great Spangled.
