Moved from Eurytoma obtusiventris.
I should have noticed the antennae. What puzzles me is that the males are supposed to be considerably smaller than the female E. gigantea and this one is just about the same size (or even slightly larger) as the females that I found in this group of galls (about 5 mm) according to the article cited in the remarks. So, I don't know what to think. I guess that I will be collecting more galls this winter and I hope that you can continue helping me.

Sure this is not a male E. gigantea?
The tufts of hairs on the antennae, long petiole and the small gaster suggests a male... I think E. obtusiventris is smaller than 5-6mm?
