Hmmm, this specimen seems to be temporarily missing... :-\

But there was an Eris militaris male in the same batch, so moving this to specis level, for now, and hoping that the specimen turns up again on my desktop.

Interesting! Particularly as I followed the Salticid keys in Paquin & Dupérré (as best I could, since they are in French) and ended up at either Phidippus or Eris (since I didn't understand the last key that separated these two). For some reason I dismissed Eris, but I think you may be on the right track because none of the Phidippus markings I saw seem to curve the right way.

I think that the specimen is mature, so I should be able to confirm this later on (if I ever can get things unpacked). Thanks.
