Size: 1/4 inch
This little guy was hard to fous...had the wind going....very small... deposited on the leaf a tiny black egg with second photo.....please help by giving a starting point to identfy....thank you

something like Eudioctria or Dioctria... perhaps Herschel will have a better idea.

I was looking at this page at http://wisconsinbutterflies.org/robberfly/species/280-dioctria-hyalipennis and it showed a simular black egg
