Longhorn With "Tail" - Graphisurus fasciatus - Female

Is the "tail" an ovipositor? This is a fairly small beetle - maybe around half an inch. Attracted to my patio light at night.

Looks like female Graphisurus fasciatus
yes that is an ovipositor.
