Thanks to great experts like Dave Smith, we get these insects identified correctly to species. Even on these look alike ones.

Hemitaxonus dubitatus (Norton)
Tenthredinidae: Selandriinae. Larvae feed on sensitive fern, Onoclea sensibilis. Adults rather elongate like this, resembling a cephid.
