Aggressive Michigan Basement Spiders

Aggressive Michigan Basement Spiders
Milford, Michigan, USA
June 23, 2009
Dozens of these spiders were found in my grandmother's old, damp, unfinished basement in SE Michigan. I'm not sure what sort of webs they build, but they're highly aggressive. I've not been able to locate what sort they are, and I'm curious to see if anyone can help.

Not dangerous.
This is probably a hacklemesh weaver in the family Amaurobiidae. They are generally very secretive.
