May not be dead.
Insects that have "apparently" drowned have a way of resurrecting themselves, so give her time....This is a female broadnecked root borer, Prionus laticollis. Despite their size they are harmless. The larvae bore in tree roots but apparently do minimal damage.

Harmless in the sense of not being dangerous and aggressive,
but if carelessly handled, they can give quite a pinch with their mandibles.
