Kukulcania?
Looks pretty close. We seem to be in the habitat area. I gave it to some neighborhood kids who've kept it alive these last 3 weeks. It's a tremendously large spider for this area, but was not aggressive at all as I corralled it into the jar.

"Southern House Spider" has a nice ring to it...now if I can just convince the wife how many insects it eats...
