Brachymyrmex? - Lasius neoniger - female

Brachymyrmex? - Lasius neoniger - Female
Berrien Springs, Berrien County, Michigan, USA
July 3, 2009
Size: ~3-4mm
This is a poor specimen which I damaged during capture, but it looks like a Brachymyrmex to me.

Moved
Moved from Formicinae.

Lasius
In the size range stated and with those relatively long antennal scapes (first segment), it is certain this is not the much smaller Brachymrmex, but rather the common Lasius neoniger.
