Giant Mesquite Bug Nymph - Thasus neocalifornicus

Size: At Least 1"
Spotted in the early morning on a Mesquite Tree. Can't believe the coloration and patterns on this one.
It looks like a Leaf-footed Bug, size about like a Giant Mesquite Bug. Is this a nymph? A female?
