Fly - Syritta pipiens

Fly - Syritta pipiens
St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, USA
July 4, 2009
I thin this is a fly in the genus Syritta. Would that be correct? If so, any species for it? I think it may be pipiens. Also, I didn't notice at first, but this one's got 2 hitchhikers attached to it's underside and leg - 2 mites. Thanks for ID help.
