Can someone confirm???

Taxonomy
Could anyone tell me if this species is part of family Libellulidae? I was going to move the image, but there isn't even a guide page for the genus.

Red Rock Skimmer
According to Arizona Odonata www.gc.maricopa.edu/biology/aznature/pages/libellulidae.html, it is Family Libellulidae

Thanks!
Thanks!

No.
This is probably a red rock skimmer. Sorry, I don't recall the scientific name offhand. Very common in AZ, usually perches on rocks just like this:-)

Red Rock Skimmer
That's it (Paltothemis lineatipes). My Southwestern Audubon Guide didn't show it - but other web sites confirm it. Thanks
