Black Swallowtail - Papilio polyxenes - female

Black Swallowtail - Papilio polyxenes - Female
Stewartsville, Warren County, New Jersey, USA
August 30, 2005
Got a better photo this morning. Can someone confirm the identification?

Moved
Moved from Black Swallowtail.

Yes,
Pretty sure you're correct and this looks like a female. However, it does not appear to be the same specimen you photographed in the other two pictures, so it's best to leave this one unlinked from those.

Different Black Swallowtails
Thanks, Lynette - I had to look closely to see the difference, but the one I photographed this morning is definately a different individual. I have unlinked it from the other two photos.
