This little bee seems to collect pollen beneath it's abdomen.

Female leafcutter bee.
Gorgeous image of a female leafcutter bee, Naomi:-) She's in the genus Megachile. You are correct, she does collect pollen in a brush of hairs beneath her abdomen.
