What type of moth? - Junonia evarete - Male
Miami, Dade County, Florida, USA

Just curious what type of moth this is. Thanks for your help!

Looks like a Tropical Buckeye
Junonia evarete ssp. zonalis. The dark coloring to the inside of the eye spot on the front wing, and the lack of the orange border on the hind wing both favor this species. The small eye spots would be very unusual in a Common Buckeye also, though not unheard of.

The shape of the wings implies that it's a male.

Butterfly
It's a butterfly. Some kind of buckeye. I'm not that great at IDing these because of the location. It could be either a mangrove buckeye or the common buckeye.
