Grasshopper - Dichromorpha viridis - male

Grasshopper - Dichromorpha viridis - Male
Sand Springs, Osage County, Oklahoma, USA
July 6, 2009
Size: 13mm (1/2")
Please help with ID.

looks like
a very attractive male Dichromorpha viridis.

A couple of clues. The two tone top vs. side coloring is common in this one. The sides of the top of the pronotum are pretty straight and parallel. The front femora of the males are thick (also think in Orphulella, but the top of the pronotum is pinched in in the middle there).
