most likely Squash Vine Borer
Melittia cucurbitae - Squash Vine Borer - Hodges#2536. Often a big problem here in Medina County. Melittia calabaza is also present here at times.

These are not moth eggs, but leaf-footed bug eggs. Presumably they belong to a squash bug (Anasa):

Squash Vine Borer eggs would be on the lower part of the stems and not the leaf.
