Just saw the female of this bee with the white striped abdomen on my rose bush. Beautiful green, but most of the postings I see here are in the south or the west. Is this bee usually found in New Hampshire?

Agapostemon?

This is a male Agapostemon sp. (males have black and yellow banding on the abdomen. Females have either black and WHITE bands, or are wholly metallic green.

This bee is also known as a "sweat bee". I saw several of them when I lived in Florida.
