Hemileuca eglanterina
Klamath Falls, Klamath County, Oregon, USA
August 1, 2005
this moth was caught in a clearcut area between 4000 and 4500 ft. in elevation, toward the end of July, about 30 miles west of Klamath Falls, OR.

Elegant Sheep Moth
Hemileuca eglanterina, # 7744. I believe this is form 'denudata.' This is a highly variable moth. You can see an example of the extreme variability on this CBIF image.

Moved from Moths.
