As an insect-lover...
...I always enjoy viewing your images. As a photographer, sometimes I'm so jealous I want to cry.

Sorry for asking if you've already answered this question before, but do you use a tripod for the majority of your images?

Thanks...
again for the kind words! I purchased a Gitzo explorer tripod when I first started macro, but I never use it. All of my images are taken hand held. These were taken standing in the middle of a marshy area in the rain with my friendly female mosquito companions :^)
