There seem to be quite a few different - and neat - bee flies out this year, mostly in south county. At Nix Nature Center, walk along the edge of the parking area, check around the gourds, head towards the kiosk, and keep looking down. At Riley, take the trail that goes past the butterfly garden, then the first one off to the right. Look on the trail itself, low plants next to it, and buckwheat as well.
