Leafrolling Cricket - Camptonotus carolinensis - female

Leafrolling Cricket - Camptonotus carolinensis - Female
Stafford, Stafford County, Virginia, USA
September 1, 2005
Found on window screen at night. ID possible? Help appreciated.

Cool!
This is so cool! Best image I have ever seen of an (entire) leafrolling cricket, Camptonotus carolinensis. This one is an adult female. They are seldom seen, except as prey being toted by a Sphex nudus wasp:-) Neat find.

Wow!
That just made up for all the nights I have found nothing. Thanks for the ID and info, Eric. I am glad I got to see her alive and intact.
