I thought this was a walking stick, but I've never seen one before, so have no clue.

maybe a stilt bug ? Family Berytidae
It looks similar to these guys. At first I thought it was a water scorpion, but it lacks the stem out the rear.

 
More likely a Reduviidae...
look in the Emesinae.

I tried to search for stilt legged bug. Came up with nothing. They're called "thread-legged" I think I'll remember now. :)
