This was discovered on the same blood orange tree. Since taking this picture it has moved on. How long do they pupate? I'm assuming that the adult will have similar colors, am I correct in assuming this?

Different colors
I just now found your questions. By now your caterpillar should have become a butterfly and answered them if it stayed nearby. Anyway, the adults are black and white or black and yellowish-white, with a few blue spots. I had one emerge recently. It was a chrysalis for 14 days. The process might go faster in warmer weather.
