Spittle Bug - Prosapia ignipectus

Spittle Bug - Prosapia ignipectus
Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA
September 1, 2005
Size: ~7 mm
Shot in our backyard. I don't know if this shot shows enough of the underside to identify it to species...Andy?

Prosapia ignipectus
If it were P. bicinctus, the dark crimson color of the underside would be more evident.

Thanks Andy!
as always:)
